Things to do and see:
When you are not diving you can:
- Relax on Seven Mile Beach. It's Grand Cayman's most famous beach and often appears in World best beach lists.
- Rent a hobie cat and go sailing. Or take an organised sailing cruise for snorkelling or sunset views.
- Jetski's and Kayaks can also be rented.
- Visit the Cayman Turtle Farm at Boatswain's Beach to see green turtles being raised. Turtles are still available in Cayman restaurants, hopefully this trip will persuade you to abstain).
- Visit the smaller Cayman Islands to get away from the crowds. Bird watchers will love the National Trust Parrot reserve on Cayman Brac and the Red Footed Booby Bird Nature Reserve on Little Cayman.
- Play a round of golf on one of Grand Cayman's two golf courses.
- Visit the National Gallery in Georgetown to see some local art.
- Visit the oldest building in the Caymans, the Pedro St. James Castle, which dates from 1780.
- See the Cayman Island's native fauna at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. This impressive park has a mile long nature trail to follow.
- Go deep sea fishing for marlin, wahoo and tuna among others.
- Shop for duty free goods.
