Food and Drink
- There are over 150 restaurants on the Cayman Islands including local and international cuisines.
- Cayman Islands restaurants can be expensive as much of the food is imported but local seafood is reasonably priced.
- All tastes are catered for. You can eat pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, English pasties, Jamaican jerk chicken, Italian pasta, Chinese noodles, Japanese sushi, Spanish tapas or Mexican tacos.
- The Cayman's have their fair share of relaxed beach bars and more high energy clubs. Many bars and restaurants have live bands.
Public Holidays and Festivals
- Batabano is Grand Cayman's carnival celebration, a weekend of partying at Easter time. The same carnival is called Brachanal on Cayman Brac.
- Pirates Week is a 10 day party at the end of October when everyone dresses as pirates for parties and fun.
- June see's a month long fishing tournament.
- The Cayman Islands shares the same public holidays as the UK with Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Easter holidays.

Dos and Don’ts
- Topless bathing is illegal in the Cayman Islands
- Swimwear should not be worn off the beach.
Language
- English is the official language of the Cayman Islands.
