Public Transport

• Although Grand Cayman does have a public minibus service, most people find that hiring a car or a scooter is a more reliable option and there are several rental agencies that can rent you a car at the airport or at your hotel.
• You can also rent cars and scooters on Little Cayman and Cayman Brac.
• You must be over 21 with a drivers licence from your own country to rent a car.
• Cars drive on the left and at a very civilized pace.
• Bicycles are also available for hire and are a pleasant way to see the islands.
• Taxi's are only available on Grand Cayman. Hotels will collect guests from Cayman Brac and Little Cayman airports on arrival.
• Most transport between the three islands is by flight although there are some private boat operrators that can be chartered.
