Getting There

  • Regular flights to Queen Beatrix International Airport

 

Visas

  • Visitors arriving for the purposes of tourism from the following countries can stay in Aruba for up to 3 months: Australia, Canada, Iceland, Japan, Licehtenstein, New Zealand, Switzerland, U.S.A. , E.U. countries.
  • Visitors from other countries will need a visa to visit Aruba.

 

Climate

  • Lucky Aruba is sunny all year round and the trade winds make it feel cooler than it really is. Temperatures average 27°C.
  • Aruba receives less than 70cm of rain per year which falls mainly from October to December.
  • Aruba is not affected by the Caribbean hurricanes.

 

Health

  • Aruba’s Dr. Horacio Oduber Hospital is a modern 330 bed facility, located across from Punta Brabu Beach. In the rare cases when this hospital cannot deal with a medical condition, an airlift to Curacao are also possible.
  • Many hotels cater for handicapped guests.
  • Aruba’s tap water is safe to drink.

 

Personal Safety

  • Aruba is considered one of the safest Caribbean destinations but if you are daft enough to leave valuables where they can be taken, don’t be surprised if they are.
