Land Temperature: 7°C (45°F) in winter (May to November) to 20°C (68°F) in summer (December to April).
Water Temperature:

9°C (49°F) to 20°C (68°F). Strangely, the sea can be colder in the summer than in winter. Southwest coastal waters are cooler than the east coast.

When to go: Diving is possible year round. There are several different dive locations and some dive sites are not dived at certain times of the year when seas are rough. See individual destinations for more details.
Wetsuit required:  7mm wetsuit or drysuit.
Visibility: 2-20m
Diving types: Reefs and rocks
Experience Level: Beginner to Experienced. Many of the best dive sites require experience.
Marine life: Great whites, bull sharks, tiger sharks, hammerheads, whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, sardines.
