Land Temperature: Tropical climate. July to September is the dry season with temperatures around 23-30°C (73-86°F).
December to April is the wet season with temperatures around 25-33°C (77-91°F). Humidity increases in the wet season and there is a chance of hurricanes.
Water Temperature: From 23°C (73°F) in winter to 29°C (84°F) in summer 
When to go: Year round. Dry season months are best. Humpback whales are seen from July to October.
Wetsuit required:  3-5mm
Visibility: 20-50m. Visibility is best in dry season months.
Diving types: Hard coral reefs. Drift dives. Cave dives.
Experience Level: Novice to Experienced.
Marine life: Reef sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, reef fish, barracuda, tuna, turtles, sea snakes, pristine hard and soft corals, gorgonian seas fans. Humpback whales from July to October.
After diving:  Sailing, surfing, fishing and kayaking are popular in Tonga. On Sundays everyone goes to Church and visitors are welcome.
