Land Temperature: Temperate climate with regional variations. Southern Italy average temperature is 6°C (43°F) in winter and 25°C (77°F) in summer.
Water Temperature: 14°C (57°F) in winter to 24°C (75°F) in summer
When to go: Summer months are best and many dive centres close in the winter months.
Wetsuit required:  5mm or dry suit
Visibility: 10-35m
Diving types: Shore dives and boat dives. Drift dives and deep dives. Rocky reefs, caverns, caves, wrecks and statues.
Experience Level: Intermediate to Experienced.
Marine life: Coral, sponges, wrasse, eels, grouper,octopus, crab, lobster, sea stars, sea urchins.
