Land Temperature:

Range from 7-32°C (45-90°F) but varies from region. Hotter and drier in the south than the north.

Water Temperature: Averages 15-21°C (60-70°F)
When to go: Any time of year. August and September are warmest.
Wetsuit required:  5-7mm semi-dry or drysuit.
Visibility: 10-15m in kelp forests. 20-30m in open ocean
Diving types: Kelp dives. Shark dives. Reef dives. Pinnacles. Shored dives. Lake dives.
Experience Level: Beginner to Experienced
Marine life: Giant kelp forests and reefs. Southern California sealions. Sharks including Mako, Blue, Leopard, Horn and Soupfin Shark. Garibaldi, seabass.
After diving:  Hollywood, Las Vegas, Disneyland, San Francisco etc etc etc
