Any time of year although October and November are the rainiest months. Bonaire lies outside of the Caribbean hurricane belt.
Wetsuit required:
Swimsuit or 3mm shorty in summer. 5-7mm full suit in winter.
Visibility:
Consistently clear all year would. Average 30m but often 50m+
Diving types:
Pristine fringing reefs that can be dived from shore. Reefs slope from the surface then drop off from 10m down to 50m+
Experience Level:
Beginner to Experienced
Marine life:
Hard and soft corals, caribbean reef fish, reef sharks, nurse sharks, stingrays, turtles, tarpon. Occasional whale sharks and dolphins. Macro includes seahorse and frogfish.
After diving:
Windsurfing or kitesurfing. See the pink flamingos at Lake Goto. kayak in the mangroves. Roll the dice at the casino.
